🌎 This earth month, amidst all of life’s dema 🌎 This earth month, amidst all of life’s demands, make it a regular habit to get your family outside and in nature. I know firsthand that getting out the door with kids—especially little ones—can feel like the biggest challenge. 🌀 Messy garden, full heart. 👶🏻 Sometimes 🌀 Messy garden, full heart. 👶🏻 Sometimes outdoor time looks like garden clean up with a baby on your back! 🪴 Gardening is often messy— hands in the dirt, dirt under the nails, dust in the air both in the planting and clean up process. ☀️ This month, we are slowing working through turning our garden over from spring plants to summer. ✨ For us, gardening is about being outside, connecting with the earth, and showing our little ones the magic of growing things. 👩🏻‍🌾 Invite your kids into the process. Give them small tasks. My daughter’s job was to pull the snap pea tendrils off the arch. 🪣 Let them dig, explore, and get messy. 🪟 This strawberry was visible from our dining r 🪟 This strawberry was visible from our dining room and back door. 🍓 Strawberries are her favorite fruit. We can buy a whole Costco pack and she’ll be the only one to eat it in just a few days. None left for the grown ups. ❓Everyday since its red color started to show, my daughter has been asking if it’s ready. 🪴 She did help me plant it after all. 🐦 Our backyard gets a few visitors. Squirrels, birds, neighborhood cats. So we hid this one until it was ready to pick.
